Yellow Cab of Austin recently launched its newest service, TaxiCard™, the convenient Yellow Cab gift and corporate card. Austinites, business travelers, students and tourists can enjoy the ride and the convenience of a prepaid taxi fare when traveling around the city.

TaxiCard™ holders must simply present the pre-loaded card to the independent contractor driver from Yellow Cab at the start of a ride. At that time, the driver will swipe the card through the meter. Then, the driver and passenger can see the card balance and available funds for the ride. At the end of the trip, the driver will swipe the card again and the fare will be deducted from the passenger’s TaxiCard™ account.

• GPS Computer Dispatch (closest cab is matched to each service call)
